What do you feel are the “ideal body types” that the magazines portray for men and women?
— the ideal body types are no blemishes and everything is perfect about them.

What is your definition of “perfection”?

— perfection is you. the way you are.
Has there ever been something about your body or features that you wanted to alter?  Why? (you do not have to be specific.)

–i like the way i am and would never want to chanqe myself.

Have your thoughts on celebrities changed?  Are they as “perfect” as you think they are?

Have your thoughts on Photoshop changed?

What does SMHS repesent to you?

On my logo I put a whole bunch of different stars. Stars that are different sizes and colors, this represents our school because every student is a star in their own way. We’re all different in our way and so are stars. No 2 stars are the same and neither are 2 people.

Terrible Molly

Today is the first day of school, what a bummer! My summer was the best summer ever! I stayed at my grandparents and they always let me do whatever I wanted, so you can be sure, that I took full advantage of it. Anyways, let’s get back to the first day of school. My new teacher’s name is Miss Jewels; I heard she’s a very easy teacher, so I can tell my school year is going to be fun already.

I walk into class that day with my new brown shoes, all tied so neat in a bow, my knee high socks, which I like to scrunch down because they itch my knees, and my white button up shirt, which is supposed to be tucked but I like to be a rebel . As I looked around the class and greeted all my friends with high fives, they all asked me, “Hey Molly, what new tricks are up your sleeves this year?” I told them all that it was going to be good, really good. You see I’m known as “Terrible Molly”, I don’t know why. I’m a very nice girl in my opinion, however, pushing and reminding kids off the swing, so that I can get a turn, is apparently considered “terrible”. I considered them terrible for not sharing the time on the swing

Since it’s the first day of school and first impression are always important, I thought I should defiantly get aquatinted with the new principal. He should know what he has coming to him this year with the kids not sharing, or caring about others. “So what to do, what to do”… I think to myself. I got it! I think I should pick a fight… I haven’t got into one of those for a very long time, so I’m overdue for on.. Now next question, who should be the victim? Sally, the jumping rope queen? Naa, to easy. How about Jane, the smartest kid in the 5th grade class? Yes, I think we have a winner. I hate people who think they know everything, because they really don’t. I bet if I asked her how far away is our school from a different school in Japan she wouldn’t know. Therefore, that’s my victim Jane.

a.) I am in my bed trying to fall asleep. I  flip from left to right and stare at the ceiling for a while.  Everything about my day is being replayed in my mind and I would give anything to just fall asleep to escape to la la land.  Out of no where, something hits me in the forehead.  Unsure of what it is, I spring up and scan the room for anyone or anything.  As I go to grab the flash light that I have hidden under your bed,a little voice greets me with a “hello”.  I answer, “Who’s here?  Who are you?  Where are you?”  The little voice says, “I am Lola Chuleta and I am the princess of La Chupacabra. I am down here” I look down, and I still cannot see where this little voice is coming from.  “I apologize, but I think I’m going crazy.  Where are you?”  All of a sudden I feel something that hits me on my chin.  My eyes focus on my chin and I notice a little man standing on my face.He pours some white dust on my face and as I open my eyes I’m in another world. As I look around I see a land of candy dum drops and sugary filled funess. I am in ( H  E A V E N ] =) All of a sudden a hear a loud RiNGGGGGG***, it was my alarm clock . I guess it was all a dream, but as i turn to stop the clock I see a little bag with a note on it. I opened the note and it said : Hears a little dust for if you ever feel like coming back

Short story

March 10, 2009

Just like everyday, I woke up feeling happy.  As I was trying to motivate myself to get out of bed, a purple light caught my eye .  As the light began to memorize my face, I realized there was a huge monkey in my room.  My curiosity began to fly as I had only ever imagined these colors in my dreams.   I jumped out of bed and walked slowly up to my window.  I reached my hand out to unfold the secret the rest of the curtain was hiding.  As I gently began to pull the rest of the curtain to the left, I was blinded by this light.  Stunned, I fell back and rubbed my eyes.  As my sight came back both curtains now closed off the light. I walked back up to the window and  with no reservations,  I opened the curtains with both hands and saw my house was under water and everyone turned into mermaids including myself. *GASP–

3.  As I’m walking down Main street, I saw a mysterious, smiling old man with a Saint Mary hat on.  I continue walking on my path and happen to glance in his direction again I felt that maybe I know him.  In the matter of second, he is across the street.  Bewildered by this, I do a double take and the man is gone.   I keep walking trying to think of what just happened and refocus on the path in front of myself.  As my eyes meet his, I now know there is something magical about this man. I think to yourself, “How could he ever move that fast, and now he is standing in front of me?”  Without him saying a word, he takes off his hat and he has huge elephant ears that moved when he blinked his eyes. It was insane he told me that he’s been watching me lately because he knows I’ve been having a rough week. As he continues talking all I can think about is why his ears are so big. When he finishes talking I ask him very politely “Excuse me, why are your ears so big?” He replied in a very nice manner “Well Cristina, there magical ears.” “Like a magic genie, and i get to make three wishes?” I questioned him. He answered “NO!, I hate when people compare me to genies, but the concept is the same.” I apologized to him and I told him if he would give my wishes to my best friend Ronaldo Bermeo. The genie said okay and went off on his way. THE END<3
